We are proud to announce that Uberbinder has been accepted into the CDL program.

Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. Its nine-month program allows founders to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, increasing their likelihood of success.

This milestone arrives at a pivotal moment for Uberbinder — and for the planet.

The world maintains 25 million miles of paved roads — enough to reach the Moon and back 50 times. Every mile is held together by bitumen, the residue left when crude oil is refined into everything more valuable. Bitumen is price-volatile, supply-insecure, and carbon-intensive.

Uberbinder has developed and is piloting its multifunctional, massively scalable bio-binder to extend and replace fossil bitumen at the core of the world’s roads. Engineered from abundant waste sulfur and regenerative biomaterials through its patented inverse vulcanization process, its drop-in alternative runs through existing plants and pavers with little or no modification. Where the industry uses four products — bio-binder, warm-mix agent, rejuvenator, and anti-stripping agent — Uberbinder uses one. It is designed as a key lever in helping the asphalt sector reach net zero.

Uberbinder’s first field pilot was laid in 2025 at the Mass Mobility Hub in Waltham, Massachusetts, and has already endured its first winter. Independent validation is also underway with BATT and AECOM.

As Uberbinder matures from TRL5 to commercial readiness, ambition demands acceleration. By placing Uberbinder in front of the world’s most demanding mentors, scientists, and investors — with the objective rigour, network, and firepower — Uberbinder aims to turn its breakthrough into roads people actually drive on at the massive scale and speed the climate demands.
